I learned that reusing passwords for different accounts is bad practice too late. The bad experience of hack forced me to start searching for a solution that will resolve my problem. This is how I found out about a hardware-based password management system created by Authentico. Most importantly, their product addresses my problem with passwords. Ciphra generates secret keys that I don’t need to remember to get access to my files with passwords. Furthermore, they aren’t even stored anywhere in memory. Summarizing, I can say that this is a first-rate password manager.

It’s a pretty good device for secure password storage and secret key management. As a person, who implicitly worked in the cybersecurity sphere, I want to say that the concept of the device and technology, used by Authentico are innovative but there is one catch. While CIPHRA makes offline cracking of databases impossible, online security of data is ensured only by the cryptography. Therefore, it requires additional tools or software to mitigate the risk of network intrusion and other cyber attacks aimed at gaining data when it’s processed or transferred. Ciphra is a powerful device but isn’t a solution for all the security issues. By combining it with other advanced technologies, you’ll reduce the risk of hacks to 0,001%.

I liked the way the product works because it doesn’t require any special settings to run. Apart from secure storage, ciphra simplifies password management and provides convenient and fast authentication. In short, it is a good security solution, what else can I say.

Our company that specializes in mobile and web development was looking for an efficient and cost-effective tool for passwords management and data security. CIPHRA is what we found a great device for these purposes. This hardware password-management system is using technology that provides extra security. This technology allows extracting unique keys from a digital fingerprint, which can’t be copied by cybercriminals because they are not stored anywhere in memory.
