Very disappointing experience with Asko after-sales service. A technician attended to refit the belt/seal on my washing machine, however shortly after the visit the seal came loose again and the machine continued having issues with excessive wobbling during the spin cycle. It later developed drainage problems, unusual noises, and would not progress through cycles properly. During the original visit, I was specifically told by the technician to contact him directly if the issue continued within the warranty period. I followed those instructions and called/texted multiple times shortly after the service, but never received any response. When I later contacted customer service, I was told nothing could be done because too much time had passed since the original visit. Despite explaining that I had attempted to follow up within the warranty period, no goodwill assistance, reduced fee, or compromise was offered. I also emailed customer feedback separately and received no response. For a premium appliance brand, I expected a much higher standard of after-sales support and communication. Unfortunately this experience has left me very disappointed and without confidence in Asko service going forward.

Sadly a disappointing experience with the Asko W1094W washing machine. It’s a clean and sleek design, however although sold as a premium product to rival the likes of Miele, the quality of the parts are questionable, including the plastic door catch and subpar detergent tray. Moreover, I did not experience a ‘better’ wash than our series 2 Bosch Maxx 6 which it replaced. We used it for the 3 weeks before we gave up due to constant excessive moisture in the laundry. This can only be put down to short spin cycle at the end of a wash, in particular in the ‘coloured laundry’ cycle. Nonetheless, the reason we purchased this machine over a Miele was the 5 year warranty vs. 2 years from Miele. However, the issue we discovered and hence the rejection of the appliance (under the Consumer Rights Act 2015) is that most third party engineers (Pacifica and Domex) have never come across the brand and do not understand the wash cycles. Asko DO NOT have their own engineers to repair/service the appliance and therefore the warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on. We have opted for another Bosch, half the price, and even if it becomes faulty, Bosch have their own in house engineers.

We have owned 2 Asko dishwashers; the first was bought in Miami in 2010, and ran well for 13 years, fully justifying the company's reputation at the time for quality and reliability. The second, a Logic Series 24 was acquired in January 2024 from Fuse Appliances in Miami, and unfortunately, the new one has proved to be unreliable. The issues have been minor until recently. I first contacted Fuse about it on December 8th, and they arranged for a service visit on December 11th, but the parts that need to be replaced still have yet to arrive, despite assurances from Pinnacle in Florida that they would be in by the first week of January. We are all hostages to Asko because the appliance is still under a 2 year warranty. At this stage I am wondering whether the parts will even arrive before the warranty expires next month. Please intervene to engineer a better outcome.
