We booked six nights at ApelvikStrand but ended up leaving after the third night because we simply couldn’t stay any longer. The cottage is old and feels very run-down. Upon arrival, we even had to make our own beds, which was not the welcome we expected. Unfortunately, the beds did not appear clean and felt heavily worn, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. There was a strong unpleasant smell throughout the house, and the toilet smelled particularly bad. The furniture is outdated, and the kitchen appliances are very old and in need of replacement. Although the property is close to the beach, the beach itself had an unpleasant smell during our stay. Another major issue was the complete lack of privacy. People can easily walk right around the house and directly past the windows, making it feel as though you are constantly on display, even while sleeping. Overall, this was not the relaxing holiday we had hoped for. The property is in urgent need of renovation, better maintenance, improved cleanliness, and more attention to guest comfort. We were so disappointed that we chose to leave halfway through our stay.

Very poor experience at the beach house. The appliances were extremely old, and both the sofa and bed were heavily worn and uncomfortable. The kitchen felt like it hadn’t been updated since the 1970s. The bathroom was particularly problematic—I couldn’t sit properly on the toilet because the sink was in the way. It also had a strong unpleasant smell, and the extractor fan wasn’t working at all. Overall, a very disappointing stay and not what I expected.

Tolles Haus direkt am Strand. 50 m. Eine straße überqueren. Kaum befahrung. Man kann links und rechts überall was essen gehen. Draußen sitzen sehr angenehm. Das einzige, was ein bisschen blöd ist. Die Toiletten sind sehr eng gebaut. Die Dusche an sich viel Platz.

Das ApelvikStrand in Varberg bietet moderne Strandhäuser und Ferienwohnungen im kontinentalen Stil, nur wenige Meter von den Dünen der Bucht Apelviken entfernt. Die Strandhäuser - Bungalows -verfügen über eine eigene möblierte Terrasse, eine voll ausgestattete Küchenzeile, mit Geschirrspüler, Kochfeld, Mikrowelle und WLAN. Die Lage verbindet erholsame Natur mit der Nähe zum zehn Minuten entfernten Stadtzentrum von Varberg sowie einer lebendigen Umgebung voller vielseitiger Restaurants, einer neuen Strandpromenade und optimalen Bedingungen zum Wind- und Kitesurfen. Zudem ist die Unterkunft ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, wie etwa zur historischen Festung Varberg mit dem berühmten Bockstensmann.

Es ist ein sehr gemütliches kleines Häuschen. Toll gelegen. Gleich am Strand. Gute Erholung möglich. Sehr bequeme Betten. Leider war kein Backofen vorhanden. Auch kein Toaster. Eigentlich könnten im Kinderzimmer 4 Betten sein zum runter klappen. Hat nicht funktioniert. Brauchten wir auch nicht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einkaufs Möglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. Wir können uns vorstellen wieder zu kommen.
