We stopped at this restaurant without a reservation, hoping to have a meal with our dog. We were told that, because of Swedish law concerning allergies, we could only sit outside on the patio. I was surprised by this explanation, as we had already eaten indoors with our dog at many other restaurant in Sweden, some further down the road. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she told me that this could not possibly be true. The issue was not that the restaurant preferred not to allow dogs inside — that is entirely their choice. The problem was presenting it as a legal requirement and then effectively telling a customer that his own experience was not true. I said that I did not think it was appropriate to be treated as though I were lying, and we left. A simple “we do not allow dogs inside” would have been perfectly understandable. There was no need to invoke a law that, as far as the Swedish food authority’s own guidance indicates, does not impose a general ban on dogs in customer dining areas.

Managed to book a table on a very busy summer day, one hour before arriving. Staff was so polite to find us a table on a last minute booking 🙏🏽 I’ve had the baby ribs and the sauce that comes with it is just wow 🤩 Soft meat, falls off the bones, good portion size, nice wine collection 🍷 Thanks for the great dinner and friendly service ❤️

Coleslawn brukar verka dämpande i kryddighetsavseende. Här var det raka motsatsen.
