Highly recommend for a magical place to celebrate the New Year. My husband and I treated ourselves to the 4 day New Years package in Dec 2025. What an amazing adventure! Lovely accommodation, fantastic food and so many exciting activities, but still plenty of time to relax too. Such a cosy environment! The whole team were absolutely lovely and looked after us so well. A once in a lifetime experience for us, and so glad we chose the Mattharaka Lodge .

Kiruna: Arctic Summit Views in the Midnight le 18 juin 2026 : Tout était parfait coté organisation. Notre guide parlait très bien anglais ( même si nous sommes françaises 🤭) . L'accompagnement a été personnalisé, professionnel et très attentionné. Activité à découvrir sans hésiter !

Me and my mom just spent a wonderful week at the Máttaráhkka Lodge in Kiruna. We were welcomed by Mikko and team and treated like family. The included tours (Sami reindeer experience, night & day snowmobiling and dog sledding) were all amazing! The guides were incredibly kind, patient and knowledgeable. Even when I had some mishaps (like driving the dog sled into a tree) hahaha. The food was gourmet, (Michelin level) for every meal. Straight from the land to the table. And the lingonberry juice was addictive!! I would highly recommend a stay at the lodge and if you can’t stay over, then at least go on the tours offered by Adventure Lapland. You won’t be sorry! And we even saw the northern lights right outside the lodge!

We really enjoyed our stay in Kiruna at Mattarahkka lodge. Fun adventures every day. Lovely expansive hospitality. And Northern Lights! Perfect.

What a beautiful part of the country. We had a wonderful time in Lapland. The Mattarahka is a lovely place. Emma, Fabio, Joel and all the tour guides were spectacular. Everyone was very accommodating. The northern lights did not disappoint. And the other side adventures like snow mobiling, dog sledding and reindeer riding were fantastic. A great travel experience all around.
