As a vintage menswear enthusiast I have seen lots of content about this store on the internet, including in their own channels. I finally decided to make a visit during a trip to Stockholm.
The experience lived up to my expectations! The decor is beautiful and really feels like walking into a shop from the early 20th century.
Their collection of vintage menswear is unrivaled by any store I’ve seen and is vast but well curated. I unfortunately made a visit at the end of the summer season, and they had very few of suits in my size, likely because I have a very common size. The vintage suits they did have in stock were beautiful nonetheless, and I still ended up walking out of the store with a pair of Swedish trousers from the ’50s, a pair of beautiful boots from the 30s, and one of their own vintage-inspired sweaters!
The prices are not cheap, but many of their products have lasted for a long time (some longer than 100 years) and are still in great shape. This fact, along with their incredible quality and craftsmanship, meaner it’s safe to say that anything you buy here will be cheaper in the long run than a product from virtually any contemporary store.
The service, too, was immaculate. I was served by Morgan, who was very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with, as well as impeccably dressed. He talked about some interesting products and services they are planning on offering in the future, and I will absolutely be returning next time I’m in Stockholm!
Utmärkt service, brett och välsorterat utbud. Hittade en fenomenal 50-talskostym till rimligt pris och fick råd gällande storlek och accessoarer. Kommer tillbaka hit nästa gång jag behöver en fin kostym!
Highly professional, here the best is offered. It's a well known and reputable shop for anyone with a serious intention to dress amazing. Communication is optimal and there isn't anywhere better to purchase online internationally for vintage and new vintage style clothing. Many thanks!
A store of which A Marchesan himself and his staff chooses menswear of the traditional kind with, in my opinon, in Sweden (as well as abroad) an almost unparalleled expertise, interest, curiosity as well as a slight playfulness.
Whatever you may be looking for (in the world of vintage menswear) you surely will find it here, and you will be greeted with knowledge and kindness, no matter what the occasion, it is a store that you walk out of with pride and joy.

A. Marchesan är en fantastisk butik som ej gör en besviken. Jag köpte en av deras egentillverkade koftor i September och har så gott som bott i den sen dess, otroligt skön, varm och den ser fortfarande helt oanvänd ut efter cirka 25 dagars användning. Priserna är höga, MEN fullt rimliga både vad gäller vintagekläder och nytillverkade kläder, då du betalar för oslagbar kvalitet, service osv. Kundbemötandet står ut bland Sveriges klädbutiker som det absolut bästa man kan tänka sig. Här kan man stå och ha trevligt i evigheter, och detta ändock helt utan att känna sig påtvingad att köpa. Det märks helt enkelt att man värnar om sina kunder och erbjuder seriös service och produkter. Rekommenderar starkt ett besök, eller 10…
This is the most beautiful vintage clothing store I’ve ever visited! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and truly passionate about what they do. I wish I could have a coffee there.
